Kindergarten Screening will be held on Wednesday, April 18th and Thursday, April 19th. If you have a child who will be five (5) years of age before September 1, 2012, please notify the New Wilmington Elementary secretary at (724) 656-8866 ext. 3000 as soon as possible to request registration forms and schedule an appointment.
Act 32 - Berkheimer
Recently, Berkheimer mailed documents to residents of Wilmington Area School District (and all of Lawrence County) outlining the information they have on file and asking residents to complete and return a residency certificate to their employer. If you are an employee of the District, we already have a residency certificate for you on file. If your spouse or children have not completed a residency certificate for their employer, please take this opportunity to do so. The completed forms should be returned it to their employers, not to the county or school district.
Otherwise, if your name, address, etc. are correct on Berkheimer's documents, then no further action is necessary on your part. If there are corrections to be made, please do so and return the form to Berkheimer as per their instructions.
If you have further questions, please see "Information" and "Act 32" above.
