Wilmington Area School District is comprised of all lands that lie within the municipal boundaries of New Wilmington Borough, Plain Grove Township, Pulaski Township, Volant Borough, Washington Township, Wilmington Township in Lawrence County and Wilmington Township in Mercer County.

Wilmington Area School District is assigned to Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV.

Wilmington Area School District is classified as a school district of the third class.

Crossing Guards Needed
The district is in need of two (2) crossing guards for the 2010-2011 school year.  One is needed in New Wilmington at the intersection of Market Street and Neshannock Avenue.  The other is needed in Pulaski at the Post Office.  If you are interested, please contact Melda Irwin at (724) 656-8866 ext. 6100.
