Greetings from New Wilmington Elementary School,

The teachers, students and staff welcome you to our webpage which provides a glimpse into our progressive school. Our highly qualified teaching staff either possesses or is working towards advanced degrees, and views themselves as continuing learners, exploring the latest educational research. All of our staff members are dedicated eduators that are focused on providing every child an outstanding educational opportunity. They bring to their classrooms dynamic educational strategies and high expectations for each student in a kind and caring atmosphere.

One of our primary goals is helping students and parents understand the central role of literacy in all areas of learning. We believe literacy evolves from our students' life experiences. In addition, we see the value of a strong fine arts program for all students. This supports our belief that learning is a sensory process which can greatly enrich a child's life. We strive to meet the individual needs of each student, including those with exceptional abilities or those requiring additional educational support.

We are proud of our programs and facilties, and are committed to providing our students with the very best educational experience possible. We know that can happen when a strong relationship exsists between home and school. Active support combined with our best professional effort help ensure academic success for all children.
