The Wilmington Area School District is currently seeking a full time maintenance employee. Experience with carpentry, plumbing, mechanical & electrical systems, HVAC & air conditioning systems preferred. This does not apply to students learning @HOME or in Wilmington Academy. @HOME and Wilmington Academy students will continue their current chosen learning pathway. SAVE Club is sponsoring a food drive to benefit the Crisis Shelter. Students in grades 5-12 are able to drop donations off in room 140 before or after school. For every 5 donations brought in, they are entered to win a $25 Visa gift card!
Attention Parents/Guardians: The District is excited to welcome back to the building full-time all students who are currently in the Blue and Gold hybrid learning pathways effective Monday, March 29th. The district is requesting the parents/guardians of the students in the Wilmington Academy or Greyhound Learning @ Home learning pathways to please fill out a survey to inform the district of their preferred learning pathway for their student(s) to begin on Tuesday, April 6th. Looking for something to do with your kiddos? High School Student Council is sponsoring an “Easter Bunny Hunt”. Student Council members have placed bunnies in windows of homes and businesses in the borough of New Wilmington and in Volant. Once you have spotted the bunnies, email their locations to firstname.lastname@example.org. Prizes will be awarded so be sure to include your child’s name and the name of their homeroom teacher!
Congrats to Emily Fuchs for winning 3rd place (out of 145) in the Lawrence County Student Art Show. Her art was published in the New Castle News on Saturday!
